Willie Davis Complaint against KRTH

Davis-run All-Pro Broadcasting (named in deference to the Packer great) says it hasn’t gotten any satisfaction from KRTH owner CBS – so it’s formally complaining to the FCC.

Hey Willie...hate to spring this on you bro but CBS don't care. They overmodulate in most markets and generally break alot of fcc rules. You think they give a SH-T! :'( I know, i'm a former CBS Programmer

They're WEASLES.

I hate to spring it on you, but the FCC don't care either.

Stations have been petitioning the FCC for years about interference, and nothing has been done.

We listen to KATY at work (one of the few stations that we can pick up) and I keep hearing ads on there for listeners to call and complain about KRTH's interference. I think the main issue is why KATY is assigned on a frequency so close to KRTH. KATY serves the Temecula area (and consider themselves an IE station by saying "KATY Idyllwild-Riverside-San Bernardino) and if you think of it, it is sandwiched between 101.1 Los Angeles and 101.5 from San Diego. It was a poor choice of frequency to assign in this crowded radio market. Best would be if the FCC would allow KATY to move to another frequency.

You're right...years ago I would have said 92.7 (before 92.9 Sun City came on), 96.1 or 104.7 but i'm thinking and there's nothing left open in the IE anymore....

Too close to the Palm Springs 102.3. Transmitter to transmitter min. is 71 miles for class A's. Apple Valley also has a 102.3.
