Willimantic area DJ killed in Sat. Night's Tragic Crash

Perez was a truck driver, a disc jockey for a local radio station and was widely admired for his work in the community, Falcon-Garcia said.

A very unfortunate event. I'm not familiar with Mr. Perez. Perhaps he used another name OTA. I've checked the WECS site (Eastern Connecticut Sate University) as well as WILI AM & FM and found nothing conclusive. Anyway, here is the full story from the Hartford Courant. Please keep their family in your prayers.

This evening's Journal Inquirer reports that he was with WECS. As of the time of this post, the JI's website was not accessable. I read the info in the actual paper.
