1st place in 12+ is WJBR, then WDAS-FM, Then WXCY, then WSTW at #4. So two of Delmarva's station's are in the top 4. WOGL is #5.
News/talker WDEL is pulling away from cross town rival news/talker WILM as WDEL has more than twice the audience. It would be interesting to find out if that double audience holds true for Rick Jensen on WDEL during Rush on WILM and Hannity on WILM. Also the local rivalry between WDEL's Al Messitti and WILM's John Watson who both are liberals and air at the same time.
Also Philly's WPHT is tied with WILM for audience in the 12+ race. Both air Rush/Hannity. Only WPHT airs Beck, WILM has Watson during Beck's show. Wonder if Beck's new found popularity is pulling Wilmington audiences from 1450 to 1210 and then holding them during Rush/Hannity.
WWTX The Ticket finally showed at the bottom of the pile (their annual appearance), probably due to the Wilmington Blue Rocks games.
WDSD and WXTU are minor players in country music for the Wilmington metro area as WXCY has the ratings. So I'd guess not a bad book for Delmarva, not as good for CC Delaware.
However, WSTW is where the improvement for Delmarva needs to happen, and Spencer Graves is now in the hot seat. I guess we'll see next February how he does in his now job.
I wonder if WDSD would do better as a Greatest Hits station similar to York PA's WSOX 96.1. WDSD has a strong signal into Wilmington, but they just aren't setting the world on fire with country up here (don't know how they do in non-rated Dover).
