WILW Radio Site Updates

William,

While I've always found your observations on Part-15 broadcasting interesting, your guest commentator sounds like a total wacko. Do you really want to be associated with someone who passes off his personal paranoia and prejudices as informed commentary?

I think your site would be better served if you stick to issues related to broadcasting and the media.

William, I read your editorial, warning about the NAB. Don't forget National Public Radio (NPR). They are in step with the NAB, against LPFM/LPAM/community radio.

The best way to ferret out an NAB sympathizer is to determine how he or she stands on particular part 15 transmitters. Anyone that despises the thought of using an FCC Type Accepted transmitter such as the Hamilton Rangemaster, USI Trans AM 100 or Infomax is clearly someone to watch out for. They can sit there and complain until the cows come home about the price of a FCC Type Accepted transmitter but the bottom line is this; that transmitter is LEGAL and you won’t have a problem using it as long as you stick to the rules.<~~~ HUH???

type accepted or not!! if you are causing a problem you have to fix it or off it goes. by the way you can use a non type accepted transmitter as long as you follow the rules and that is written in part 15 very clear.

the NAB is against PIRATES!!! not legal broadcasting ie:part15.

but some twisted minds can't finish to understand the rules and have this paranoid thing about the FCC.
