Windham County in Burlington DMA?

I didn't know that either. The map I have from 2018 shows them as being in the Boston market. That may seem kind of odd, but Windham County really isn't "near" the core cities of any market, and viewership of this market or that has probably been largely driven by cable carriage. I suppose the viewers there would have to decide between watching TV (most of all news) from their own state, or from one of the largest markets in the US. It could, of course, be a "both/and" situation, but Nielsen assigns counties (or in rare cases, parts of counties) to one market and one market only based upon preponderance of viewing.

As a kind of aside, is there a Nielsen map available that is later than 2018? Any other kind of breakout?

Stranger still, Brattleboro is physically closer to Springfield, MA than either Boston or Burlington. The Springfield market's north end is the MA/VT state line.

As for hotel "cable" in Brattleboro, the last place I stayed at (Comfort Inn on US Route 5) only had WBZ, WHDH and WMUR (in place of sister WCVB) for Boston market commercial stations. B/P stations were the "big 4", WNNE (CW) Montpelier and (I assume) Vermont PBS from Rutland.

I am curious about being across the river in West Chesterfield, NH. There's one hotel on that side which I've never stayed at. That is Cheshire County, easily within the Boston DMA.

This is supposedly the 2025 map:

If not, "Nielsen 2025 DMA Map" in your search engine should find you one.

It didn't turn up a map specifically labeled as such.

The map on the Wikipedia page is kind of strange. Two things that jumped out at me right away, Magoffin County KY was shown as being in the Charleston-Huntington market, while Saluda County SC appeared in the Augusta market. Those counties shifted to Lexington and Columbia respectively quite some time ago. I don't know what's going on with that map.
