WINE 940-AM now simulcasting Kicks 105.5 WDBY

I don't know when the change happened, but today when I was waiting for my Mom to come out of the Southington Public Library I picked up WINE 940-AM and they were simulcasting Kicks 105.5 rather than running the CBS Sports Radio network. Anyway I was always impressed with WINE's signal. Not even 1KW and I've gotten them on different car radios in Southington and Bristol.

Had it in NorthEast Radio Watch on Nov. 9:

"*Over in the Danbury market, we're hearing Cumulus' WINE (940 Brookfield) has switched from CBS Sports Radio to a simulcast of country sister WDBY (Kicks 105.5)."

Only error there is that WINE/WDBY have been owned by Townsquare since 2013 or '14. They were part of that second multi-market swap that involved Cumulus getting Dial Global.

Right you are, and thanks for the correction! I always forget they were part of that swap.
