WINF-LP move from 101.9 to 98.5 granted.

That's good to hear. I could no longer pick them up in the Dublin area thanks to interference from 101.7's relocation closer to the metro. I hope the change happens in time for their Little Brown Jug broadcast in September.

Even with 101.7 moving, I know that never hurt my reception of 101.9 as far south as Morse Road (at least until I got over near Sunbury Road, by which 101.9 was completely covered). There's really no way I should have been hearing it that far south, but since it was the day of the Little Brown Jug, it was fine by me.

Before 101.7 moved to their current tower site.. It was not uncommon to hear 101.9's signal near downtown.. Many times outside of the 10TV Curve I could hear that LPFM coming in like a local in the car.

Out here in Pickerington I pick up the 101.9 frequency of WINF. I wonder when they move to the new signal if they'll upgrade the power? Soft AC is one type of format missing in Columbus.

They are a LPFM their limited at no more than 100 watts ERP.. Looks like though they will slightly lower themselves on their tower and increase power slightly.

Looking thru FCC db.. Looks like long pending move of 101.9 WINF-LP to 98.5 was granted on 5/7/13.

Noticed this while looking why WINF-LP in Delaware was granted a CP to move 98.5 instead of the the NABCO contested frequency of 99.3. 98.5 opened up for WINF-LP because WSLN turned in it's 98.7 license to the FCC last June. Could not find the old WINF-LP application for 99.3 because it was apparently purged from the FCC database. But if 98.5 frequency did not become available,
the app. for 99.3 would probably still be pending. NABCO withdrew it objections and FCC granted
WINF-LP its license renewal and CP for 98.5.

I know that since they made the move to 98.5 they are no longer coming in where I live in Pickerington like they did at 101.9.

I dont think they have actually moved yet, I was up in Delaware last week and WINF was at 101.9. From my home in Reynoldsburg on the Licking CO line. i have not been able to hear them since the upgrade of WNKO
