Well we have new book out..any thoughts?

I will share what I see

Planet and X1029 are now in a head to head competition. Even though X1029 has only been on since the end of February (not a full book) it managed to bring its 12 plus numbers up dramatically from 1.6 (when it was still The Point) to a 4.3...Planet on the other hand has tumbled to the hands of X1029 5.9 to a 4.5...so Cox made the right move when changing formats with 102.9.

We still know who number 1 is..WOKV.

Gator Country has slipped somewhat...hmmm.

Anyways those are my thoughts to start things off with.

I have friends everywhere, so I say as diplomatically as possible, "holy crap!"

Competition is good for everyone, IMO, but I hope CC doesn't make any rash decisions involving staff--because that's where Planet should always, always have an edge. And it's something I still value and hope the listeners do too.

I see Rock is up a bit. Wonder if any of it is due to Greaseman. (I don't see anything other than the 12+. I'm also a fan.) Nice to see some Grease commercials on TV recently.

"Holy Crap" is the right terms to describe this dramatic jump. I am totally shocked by it as well. I hope X decides to put on some jocks. If they did I would apply an instant due to my experience I already have with the format from my time in St. Augustine at WFCF. I like the freshness of the music and that is what New Rock Radio needs to be at. Cox great job on making X1029 a great radio station. You have a winner! (Yes I may be saying it too early but the jump in numbers is just enough to say it now).
