Winter Book comes out for Nashville Thursday....Any predictions?
Venus not only stayed low, it dropped even more! So low in fact, it's tied with the Fan for winner of the basement-dwelling competition. If I were in charge, I'd turn that turkey tomorrow. But then, what do I know? The Fan's been in that cellar for a while now, and you woulda thunk they'd flipped that one by now.Might as well bring back the Party. As bad as it was, it was better than this. Or there's probably another radio group in town that could use another frequency.Things aren't looking good for KDF, either. Citadel called out the Nashville market in its Q1 report as being one of the stations that dropped. There's quite a bit of distamce between it and the Wolf, not to mention the Big 98. Now, instead of vying for #1 and competing for second in the Country race, they're battling for thrid in 650 territory. Ouch! Will anyone ever fix this? Are we waiting on the ABC merger?WLAC has certainly seen better days. My guess is that they are badly in need of refreshing. Need a little local excitement.Someone needs to take on the Beat! No way it would rate so high with better competition.Tig1150 said:More trouble for WKDF, Venus stays LOW, Still nothing for ESPN on 106.7 (now without any local shows).
Is WNSR just waiting around hoping for a good outcome from the suit coming up in Agust? I don't think they've shown up in a while.jetfli said:Venus not only stayed low, it dropped even more! No, they simply don't have any place else to go. They are what they are. As long as they pay salaries and clear a dollar they will continue to be around. If I insisted on having a sports station at 106.7, I'd lease the frequency to WNSR.PaulO said:Is WNSR just waiting around hoping for a good outcome from the suit coming up in Agust?
