WINTER BUZZ

Has anyone noticed that since it has been very cold these last few nights that the nightime IBOC has been worse than ever? The
past few nights WGN,WBBM,WSCR and WRDZ have been "buzzing" so loud that I can't tolerate listening to them. There has been
no difference in the sound of WLS or WIND at night. I am not talking about the sideband hiss either, I am talking about a loud
buzz almost drowning out the analog. It is worse in the house but I have even noticed it on my car radios. I just wondered if any
one else noticed it.

WIND isn't transmitting in IBOC, hasn't in several years...and WLS was ordered my their new ownership Citadel to cease Nightime IBOC operation a few months ago. So that may explain why they aren't trashing the airwaves.

Driving from NYC to New England yesterday, I swear there were more channels with IBOC hiss than with "regular" audio. My point being that this is really starting to get out of hand!
