WIOD-AM Stunting Last Night?

I was listening from 11:30pm until about 1:15am and after both the midnight and 1am newsblocks, instead of going into programming (Ground Zero at 12:07am and Coast to Coast at 1:07am), we were treated to at least 10 to 15 minutes of classic rock!

We heard songs from The Beatles, The Rollings Stones, The Doors.

I thought the era of AM musicradio had returned!
 
Interesting. Maybe a Clear Channel glitch and they accidentally picked up the Big 105.9 feed? (WIOD is HD-2 on Big 105.9, when it is working, that is)

I thought about that too. Well, it happened again last night! And I imagine nobody over there is aware of this, so it will likely happen again tonight.

So for those of you yearning to hear the comeback of AM musicradio, tune into WIOD-AM from about 12:06am-12:20am tonight!
 
Bring back the days when at least one person at the station was listening to it. :p

Yeah, I doubt there's even a single person in the building at that time. If I ran my board when I was on-air back in the 80s and 90s the way they do today, I'd be kicked out on the street in no time. Automation can be a good thing, but it needs to be monitored by a real person!
