After being out of town for about 2 months, I returned last week dreading that I would only be able to turn to WIOD for news/talk. And sure enough, my feelings of dread were validated as every stopset at the bottom of the hour during automation (I happened to be listening to the 11:30pm, 12:30am and 1:30am stopsets) featured the first half of a :30 spot, interrupted by Fox News while the spot continued to play in the background.
After the spot finished, and Fox News continued, we were then treated to the traffic report - again, in the background while the Fox News report was airing.
Once the Fox News report finished airing, we got that last few seconds of the traffic report, followed by.... the same traffic report once again!
This has been going on all week last week and continued last night, so it is definitely affecting the weekends as well.
And nobody at WIOD has even noticed.... disgraceful!
