As a listener to WIOD-AM in the 9p - 1am timeslot, I am constantly annoyed by weather forecasts playing at the TOH and BOH breaks that are many times SEVERAL DAYS old! There is NO EXCUSE for this!
In addition.... is WIOD trying to sneak in extra spots during the Mark Levin show, or is it just more "high school radio quality" broadcasting where the breaks just go on and on and on and we cut in during the next segment? I tend to think it's just the usual "automation sloppiness" as many of the "spots" are actually just station promos.
Back in the pre-automation stone age when I was a jock and a board op, I would have been fired the next day for running such a sloppy board.
