WIP-HD3

I got an HD radio for my car and was surprised that wMYsp (WIP-HD3) has pretty good stereo sound and has great range. I appreciate CBS keeping the rock format alive, and like the Jelli.com format as well. The music catalog on Jelli needs some maintenance though. It has never been updated since September when they pulled the plug on WYSP. Would expanding a music catalog cost money? I know people are not thrilled with HD radio, but I think it sounds way better than XM, which I had for a long time, but could never get over how bad it sounded with their low bit rates on most stations.

How can you pick up their HD-3, it was OK the first week, then it became impossible to hold. You tune it in and it drops, I have no problem with the HD-2 or any other local HD.

I find WIP to have one of the best HD signals in Philly, in my car I can keep their HD signals pretty solid right out to the Burlington/Ocean County border (generally Woodland Twp. or just East of Chatsworth). The only other one that seems that strong is WBEB.

The strongest HD signals in the metro are BEB and JBR, I cannot believe you can receive WIP HD-3... I am right on top of the Antenna Farm and WIP HD-3 drops and will not come in and this is with my JVC car radio and portable receiver Insignia, all the other HDs and sides are fine...

Could be because the WYSP calls now belong to another radio station.

WIP-HD-3 never comes in for me, even in places where WIP-HD-2 boom in. That's not a signal strength issue. I don't know what kind of issue it is, but it's not signal strength.

I have never dropped the WIP-HD3 signal, anywhere I went. From Northeast Philly to Doylestown to New Jersey. Doylestown is about as far as I have been since I got the radio. Any comments on that catalog?
