WIP moves to Center City?

Has WIP moved to 4th and Market? I think they have a new call in number too. Can anyone confirm this?

Yes, WIP operations have moved into Center City at the former WYSP facilities at 4th and Market (Independence Mall).

Talk phone line number will change. If I recall correctly, last four digits will be 9494 for traditional phones. Mobile numbers are not yet announced.

Are they going to recycle the old WYSP request line (215.592.9494) while adding a second line for South Jersey, and also, perhaps a toll-free number, something like 866.949.4736 (94-WIP-FM)?

888.732.9494 is the one and only call-in number for all the lines PA, NJ and cell phone. 215.592.9494 only works during Eagles pre and postgame shows.

Just before noon today, I was watching the 94WIP pre football game "The Buzz" on channel 3. Looking at the logo for the new 94WIP. The new white space in the "9" of 94. Noticeded it is white with baseball striped. Should we assume that means the Phillies are moving to 94WIP?

Their logo has always been like that. And with a football in the 4.

Wasn't that building torn down and turned into a museum?
KYW-AM and WYSP moved one block East when they moved out of the KYW-TV bldg by the bell. KYW-TV moved about 10 blocks West. WIP must have moved into the relatively new studios built for WYSP shared with KYW-AM

Yeah that's exactly where they moved to. WYSP's old studio.

Now they all have to pay the City Wage Tax.

Maybe salaries will jump up the same % as city wage tax. My company moved from Radnor Twp, Delco to Upper Providence Twp, Montco where they have a 1% local wage tax. Radnor didn't have the tax. All the PA residents got a 1% pay raise. I lived in NJ at the time and did not get the pay raise. I got the 1% back as a credit against my NJ state income tax. Maybe CBS is doing the same for employees moving from Bala to Philly.
