WIP Sunday Morning Show???

On Christmas morning at around 7:30 I tuned to 94 WIP and it sounded like they were airing audio of a 1960s TV show. What is up with that? If your a sports station, you shouldn't be airing that stuff.
 
You were listening to Peter Solomon's public affairs show. When he doesn't have any guests he'll play an old radio show like The Great Gildersleeve.
 
Hey its live & local for a Sunday morning PA program. Would you prefer they did what most other stations do and air corporate produced stuff like webmd on the radio? The show is 2hrs long, and 99% of the year serves the public.
