It appears WIQR has now gone Spanish 24 / 7. The past few weekends they have been carrying the radio version of ESPN Desportes and now they are carrying Spanish talk and music during the weekdays. Was kinda silly duplicating the Yahoo Sports radio format of 1210 AM and its translator, although now it appears the Ticket will pick up the ESPN affiliation once WMSP switches over to the CBS / Cumulus sports network, which is in process. Perhaps the Ticket will keep the Yahoo Sports Radio programming as well, especially the Tim Brando show.

WIQR call letters stand for: "I QUIT RADIO"
Well I was going to root for this new format to work out.
I'm now beginning to see the end is in sight for it too.
Maybe, it would be best for rambo2's idea to happen.
This radio station is now taking up space anyway.
Far as I'm concerned, they no longer serve a purpose.
Time for Mr. Greg and company to shut down this operation.
Montgomery won't be at a great loss anyway, should you do it sir.
