They have the afternoon guy and the Assistant promotions guy running the station. Everybody else has been fired and not replaced yet. Chuck gone Monica (promotions director) gone Mark vizza (marketing director) sent back to xtu. Rocco gone and replaced by the worst college radio show that i have ever heard. Is Lynn Bruder trying to loss numbers to justify a format flip. That is what it seems. Jerry is in town but what exactly is he doing. Do i hear the a new format for 96.5 for the 4th time in 5 years.

Ya mean either we'll hear "Make It Gay!" or "Springtime For Hitler" done hiphop-style? Oy!

I dont know what they are doing, sunday night, they played FALL OUT BOY, which I was shocked by (sure they play it on Q102 sometimes, but I DID NOT expect to hear it on Wired) THEN some reallllly annoying girl did a crossover with the out going jock and when she wasn't yapping annoyingly, she was laughing... constantly and loudly! Do something quick- they had this station getting some ratings and finding direction, and now what!??

And now they want to go in a different direction. It happens all the time. I agree that the jocks on the station pretty much blow. But the music is just being mainstreamed. I don't know why it's such a big topic of discussion actually.

Just speculating here, not trying to put words in anybody's mouths, so to speak - It's probably such a big topic because it means that the station is now playing (some) rock music, and rock is bad.<P ID="signature">______________

Well, I hadn't thought of it as being part of the ridiculous "rock vs. rhythmic" argument but I suppose that's because, believe it or not, I give people the benefit of the doubt until they actually stick a big old foot in their mouth. LOL.

I don't know though: I think this is just a big deal because, for some reason, everyone seemed to want to see Wired fail from the get-go. Everytime the station has made any move at all, it's been speculated as the beginning of the end. Seems to me that stations make changes as ways to remain viable; not as a warning that they're about to go bye-bye. But...what the hell do I know? :)

So E Gill, what do you do at Wired? You're constantly supporting every move they make, yet always claim Q102 is going talk, which is NOT happening, ever. Q102 bills over 30 million per year...it ain't going anywhere.
