Just got a phone call Wired 96.5 will be playing my podcast at 11:30 this morning... This should be interesting.... If anyone gets a tape let me know. I can't record right now

There was plenty out of format on my original list. I'm getting the feeling that they are making some "adjustments". I put some Metallica, Blink 182, Wu Tang, and NWA on there. They're playing Around the Way Girl - LL Cool J right now. That wasn't on my list.

I called Dakota and Chris last night on Wired 96.5. They said they weren't gona stray TOO far from format. If someone had a Zepplin record on there they are not gonna play. Their exact words were "We'll adjust it if we have to".
That sucks though. I liked your out of format choices!!
What do you think about a JACK type format for the younger demo. Or a 90's intensive top 40 with a few currents in there?

a younger skewing jack would be excellent. The idea of Jack is an "IPOD replacement".... Who listens to IPOD the most? 12-34 year olds.

Seriously, I need to add to this - HEY KANNON WITH A FRICKEN K, I KNOW YOU READ THIS BOARD! I would have a lot more respect for this stunt on Wired if you would chuck a brother some Beastie Boys - seriously, they are PERFECT for what you are trying to pull.
Besides, who else can play them in the market?
