hear that promo about wired "podcasts" ?

the folks at beasley are certainly smart to associate themselves with one of the biggest trends in music. unfortunatley, all it does is promote the amazing benefits of owning and listening to an ipod.....and NOT listening to the radio.

infinity is also trying to ride the podcast buzz with that station out in san fran. of course, they are also totally off base with the use of the phrase "podcasts". http://www.kyouradio.com/

NONE of infinity's or beasley's programming is downloadable on demand....to an ipod or mp3 device.

does radio really think that today's listeners are that dumb ?

while podcasting and internet streaming are 2 of the fastest growing trends in audio, terestrial broadcasters are placing all of their eggs in the HD basket.

while HD is kinda cool, it is WAY to late to the game.
