The conditions this morning are just right to drown out most of the Chicago FM's in the far West burbs. WIXX in Green Bay was klobbering WKQX. If I parked next to a building that blocked my Eastern exposure, WIXX was clear as a bell.

Others stations I heard included WIBA Madison (Bob and Tom... YUCK!), and just about every Milwaukee signal.

Funny you should mention that; DXing at it's best. I was actually on top of the ramp going onto the 90 from the 294 for about 30 minutes due to construction after the Dane Cook show last night and my radio was picking up so many different signals from all over: Milwaukee, Madison, Champaign, Rockford, Grand Rapids. Must have been the electromagnetic energy associated with the lightening show that appeared prior to the heavy rain! Thank goodness for aftermarket radios!<P ID="signature">______________

Out here in Rockford, I was listening to Kat FM from Dabque (sp?) [ok.. not a huge stretch] and I think I detected a few Chicago and Milwaukee stations. My girlfriend told me she was listening "to this station on 99.1" yesterday. (There's not a local 99.1) Turns out it was WMYX/MIlwaukee.
