Hey eveyone, first I want to say thanks for the support I have gotten from many of you after my first thread. I just recieved a phone call from CBS Radio in Pittsburgh. They are requesting my package via snail mail instead of email. So I will be sending it out by the end of business today. Keep your fingers crossed and keep me in your prayers. I would be living a dream if I landed this a job at B94.

It would be wonderful if you could join B-94.

The thought occurs- while the return of B-94 meant for me personally the demise of a station I would listen to for one I wouldn't, if it airs positive and enthusiastic DJs it will in the long run be a benefit for the city, which has been overrun with cynics and cloudy day types on the airwaves for years.

I'll trade John McIntire, who wants to insult me without saying anything substantive, for Nick Scott, who wants to be here, any day of the week.

Did they say why they wanted a mailed package? Does Keith not know how to read e-mail?
 
For Keith swiping the card through the security reader to get in the front door in the morning is akin to you or I landing on the moon. Opening an MP3 on line and listening to it? HAhahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!

Thinking from an PD's point of view, I would want to see the presentation of someone's package instead of an email. So I'm not worried about it. I'm greatful that they gave me a call.

I really don't care... I just want to be on the air in Pittsburgh. I am currently doing Middays but I am cool with any shift.
 
wow what a pro you are to announce that you got a call on a message board. if i'm keith clark, i'd cross you off the list for being that naive. :-\
 
The only reason I said anything was because if it wasn't for the guys on this site, I would never have known about the position or known who Keith Clark was. So I was just trying to say thank you to those who have helped me get my foot in the door. That's all, not bragging or boasting. Just very thankful.

What a pro you are to openly flame someone on a thread that has a positive vibe to it. I seriously doubt that posting on a website determines if I am a pro.

There are a lot of great, knowledgeable people on this board, but there are a lot of jealous wannabes too. Appreciate the good and ignore the bad...

Thanks guys! Even if I don't land a gig at B94, I feel like I've made some new friends and connections in the Steel City! It makes me feel great to know that you all have my back. I talked to CBS today and they still haven't recieved my package. Damn Postal Service!
