I knew WMBT is off and deleted, but I was out in the area today from Long Island and noticed WISL was off. Is that gone/going? Who owns it?

And as for WMBT, I see the property is still there. Who owns it now?
 
WMBT was owned by the Pottsville Republican & Herald... when the owner of the R&H sold the paper to Times Shamrock, he couldn't include the station on the deal, and I guess TS didn't want it. So they turned in the licenseright around Memorial Day '03.

When 1480 WISL was brought back on air, I heard nothing but music, no jingles, legal ID's, or anything. The station stayed on as long as the electricity was still on... haven't heard anything in over a year.

Do you know who owns the WMBT property now?

The station is still listed in the FCC, so it must be less than a year (or they had it on a few days to satisfy the license).
