Listened to Saturday night dance party with Logan this weekend, actually liked it.

Haley,

I think Logan is top-notch whether he is on the air in the mornings, afternoons, or doing a saturday night dance party. Kudos to him for a great broadcast. However, the tired old pre recorded mixing of DJ Richie Rich has gotten boring, stale, and predictable. It is the same thing as the 12 Noon Workout on 106 during the week. It is also just a "geared to the parents of the kids who listen to his mixes on Q102" thing. Friday nights are WAY better with the live broadcast and mixing. Frank Cerami is king of the old school dance party broadcasts and Logan may one day take that title from him. Unfortunately, when it comes to a Saturday night, if I want to hear a live broadcast, the mixing better be happening AT THAT VERY MOMENT, not a few days before and on the computer.

If you want to hear mixshows check out Z 88.9 at 2 am Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Louie Devito, Johnny Budz, Mike Rizzo, Denny Tsettos and locals DJ 54 and Jason E. Budz and Rizzo were finalist for mixshows at the air awards this past year.

I'd say Pantano sits on the "Saturday Night Dance Party Broadcast" throne ...

Pantano for the older crowd, Cerami for the 80s/90s Q102 now My 106.1 crowd
