Wonder if Howie Carr's first wife, the mother of his two oldest daughters that he dumped for Janet Jhegalian's girl friend, will go back into court and demand more alimony now that Howie will be earning $ 7 MILLION BIG ONE'S.

Must be an enterprising lawyer out there who can't wait to represent The First Mrs. Howie Carr in Divorce Court...

Howie knows how to pick his lawyers. Thanks to Dershowitz and the out of court settlement with the
corpse in a cowboy hat, he has a condo in Florida!

If you don't like his show --- don't tune in! The original poster in this thread sounds like he's been reading the gossip pages at least as much as he's been listening to his favorite station, AM 680 WRKO.
 
Obviously, you have never read one of Carr's columns. His stock and trade is the shortcomings of others. So, why should this public figure be the subject of his own medicine?

Please don't get pious, I read Carr all the time.
That's his job, that's what the Herald and Entercomm (soon to be Greater Media) pay him to do.
Casa, can you just come clean and tell us why you think Howie Carr is the devil? Is it his politics? A grudge you hold from when RKO moved JW off his PM drive slot?
If you don't like him, don't listen. Don't give yourself an ulcer ;D
 
One has to take a ticket to line up for those who do not like Carr.
 
He doesn't like Howie because he felt he gave Jerry W the shaft

a link to recently, where Howie said he's like a sports fan and has a right to boo if he so chooses.
People on the PUBLIC payroll. (Howie for the record is in the Dreaded Private Sector.)
So many people are leaving this state that we may lose a seat or two in Congress...and Howie
says, GOOD! Maybe Markey will have to run against Tierney, or Frank against Delahunt, etc...
 
Jerry's daughters will go further and state that Howie Carr's actions precipitated Jerry Williams decline in health and his death.
Howie is now on the top of the heap but there is blood on his hands that he can't wash off..."Out...out damn spot."

Is this about Jerry's girlfriend being on the state payroll? Or maybe it was the younger host usurping the
older one's time slot ("My name's Howie Carr, not Father Time")

btw, Barbara Anderson wrote this shortly after Jerry's death:

Had to be Barnicle. Howie gets $ for his Florida condo from the out-of-court settlement* AND inherits Barnicle's time slot (well, it was
for awhile) which had been Imus' slot for years. There is a God!

*--Barnicle had blabbed to Imus about Howie, and Imus made the remark about Kathy Carr...
