With atlantic and millenium sold, what should come next??

With these two stations being bought and the possibility of format changes, what kinds of formats do you all think should be started?

In my opinion, I think one of them should start a liberal talk station (probably Oaktree, since atlantic has WOND and it's doing pretty well). Think about it- with NJ and Philly being littered with ONLY conservative stations for news/talk, wouldn't it be some kind of advantage for one of these stations if they started a liberal talk station?

I'm interested to hear all of your opinions and ideas. ;D

Meh, I don't expect any changes occuring with Millen...I mean Oaktree with it's 11 stations. But hey, why not go for a dream dial.

Let's see if 94.3 can step it up and become a REAL CHR, since B98.5 is in Ocean County, or a rhythmic CHR?

WOBM-AM should swap with WOBM-FM filling the oldies format hole. Ocean County can pick up WFPG very well for their Soft AC fix on FM. So 96.9 does stay put.

SoJo could fit more towards a "B98.5 More Music Era" having it a CHR/Alternative lean.

Hawk & Cat.....probaly should remain, but I know some of you guys would like to see 105.7 go Sports.

97.3......it would be a DREAM to have Boss 97 back since it's a strong possibility that Wild is out the door. But enough of living in the past, rebrand it Energy 97.3, but not make it a clone of Wild. That would be some hell of a CHR/Dance station.

Now...NJ 101.5. After all the posts I read regarding this station and the continued rants from MedianJ, I guess the guy was right. I would like to see a tweak go for this station as in more local talk, and dedicate a little more local news for Southern NJ, since half of it's signal does cover the Philly area too (i.e. Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, etc.) as well as their coverage for Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, etc.

1450am......does anyone listen to that station?

The stations that make money (101.5, 94.3, 92,7, 96.9, and 107.3) should not be messed with...want a oldies station in Ocean on FM? Put Classic Hits on the Hawk, and sell 1160/1310 when Levy retires.

The boat won't be rocked too hard by the new management given some of the properties are the best in the state. Maybe in a couple of months, but not now.

That's the former "Air America" station, right? Didn't they go all-polka since the network went belly up?
