With B down, I might just be right

I have no clue whether it's a conscious shift or otherwise, but it sounds like Star has really stepped up its game with adding new music in recent weeks, especially at night. I'm hearing new John Mayer, Snow Patrol, Matt Nathanson, Foster The People and others...looks like they just added Jessie J and Fun., and I also notice that they're the leading the entire Hot AC panel on spins for the Gotye song, which is basically unheard of for Star.

Like I said, could be coincidence, but the new stuff really sounds great. Good balance between showcasing some new music and acknowledging the conservatism of the Hot AC format and Atlanta market. I'd personally still like a little more new music during daytime, but regardless, I hope this pays off and that they keep it up.

^They've definitely become more musically aggressive since the last ratings came out, especially with the Gotye and Snow Patrol - still way too much Katy Perry, Bruno, etc. for me to sit through, but I guess that's where Hot AC is at right now
