With KITS in mind...

I can sometimes grab KSXY (100.9) in San Mateo County, Redwood City and San Mateo and I can consistently grab it around Half Moon Bay/Pacifica — it’s a fantastic station and sometime we sorely are missing here in the bay.
I'd love to know how you do that. I'm also in RWC, but all I get on 100.9 is K265CY, a "penny whistle" 7 watt translator (in San Jose) for Contemporary Christian KAMB in Merced. Especially since KSXY is in Forestville, which is north of Sebastopol.

KSVY is very much a local, community station. Its signal is pretty much limited to the Sonoma Valley. It's a really interesting mix of programming.

Mostly comes in super clear around the mountains. Held it for a solid 45 minutes in Woodside! Otherwise it’s a hit or miss, I never can pick up K265CY (thankfully… haha)

Sonoma (the town) is a favorite destination for us. KRCB-FM has a so-so signal there; KVYN isn't receivable there at all. KVYN may still be on a temporary site after it was burned out of its site in 2017. Sonoma does have an interesting community station in KSVY.
Speaking of KVYN, are they still on their aux power/site instead of full power? I still can’t here this station in Vallejo even their 54db is within Vallejo.

I suspect they are, though I haven't seen an STA extension filed recently. I should have been able to receive it in Sonoma (the town) but there's no trace of it there.

"I prefer radio with DJ, and I prefer modern rock or any 90’s+ rock genre. I got tired of the “non human touch” Spotify pandora stuff and satellite audio quality is so mediocre"

Listen to SiriusXM over the phone app. The quality is light years ahead of the satellite signal.
