SO now that she is no longer there, I was wondering if there are any changes or noticable differences with WQXA-FM now that Claudine doesn't work there?

That would be tragic for theX to be a Jack-FM clone.
Unless I am wrong, WQXA have a lock on the whole Active Rock audience for the entire market. WTPA would be it's nearest Competitor...but Chris James wants to be a "classic rock" station that plays late 70's and 80's rock that also sneaks in a current or two every so often just to show he can do it. I heard on another thread that 98 YCR died a horrible death and that pretty much means that YES, the X have locked up the whole central PA Rock audience, so why go to a JACK-FM knockoff format??? Unless someone in citadel's hirearchy no longer wants to appeal to the 18-24 audience that the X is known for. Hmmmmmmm very interesting.

more like Jack-offs.

Hmmmmm I am sure Ron G and Chris James over at Cumulus don't want to directly butt heads with Citadel anymore. When last that happened WTPA WAS an Active rocker just like The X, and Chris saw an opportunity for an older demo, Soooo 'TPA flipped to Classic Rock that really rocks?. That is if you believe in .38 Special, Pearl Jam, Zeppelin, Tom Petty, and Poison being your core artists, along with 2 similar hairband specialty shows as your weekend programming.
WTPA should go ACtive again...or at least Mainstream Rock. Chris could do it if he wanted to. He'd do it better than Citadel anyway.
