I got word that WIYC removed Accuweather for a newer channel called Weather Nation; TCN is on 48.2. In fact www.tcn48.com still redirects to TCN's main website.

Yes, WIYC is now carrying "Weather Nation". Sure looks like a blatant wannabe Weather Channel. It's a shame this decent coverage signal is wasted with its recent programming choices. It was a respectable UPN station and has been middling since.
Too bad they couldn't work out a deal with Sinclair to simulcast Birmingham's My 68.
