WJAR syndication in the 80's vs METV on WJAR today

Just a thought because I have no life. Alot of the METV shows were on channel 10 in the 80's syndication wise.Happy Days,Hogans Heroes,Mary Tyler Moore. A double from MTM with Ted Knight a former employee of WJAR in the 50's.Just thought I'd share.

Another coincidence...... the late Ted Knight also worked at another Channel 10 (WTEN/Albany, NY) as did newsman Dick Wood who worked at WJAR back in the 60's and moved to WTEN through the 70's and 80's. Small world!

Who's Dick Wood? Not sure if this is true or not but I think I heard Ted Knight's puppet/cartoon character "Cosmic Cow" on "Too Close for Comfort" was based on something he did on WJAR on his show. Can anyone stir me in the right direction with this?

Who's Dick Wood?

Former newsman (anchor) now turned local (TV) pitch-man, and feature-segment reporter (radio) in the Albany, Saratoga NY - market.
