WJAR weaker than usual

I'm up in Natick, MA, out of the Providence market, obviously. But I can normally receive WJAR OTA with a decent picture. Now I can hardly pick it up at all. Is there anything going on with this?
 
Actually the feedline to the antenna burned out. The elbow indicates that.
Should be a simple quick-ish fix.
 
It's interesting that they're trying to fix this when it will only be good for a little over a year. When they go all-digital, do you think WJAR and WPRI will still be receivable OTA in the Boston area?
 
They were off-air Sat. between 5am-noon. Since then they have been off again a few times briefly and have been weakend.
 
Up here even in Atkinson, NH (just North of Haverhill) I can a few times a week recieve WJAR through an antenna! Once in a blue moon I can get WPRI, too.
