Seeing they're having Dan & Alison on anchoring duties. I think it would be a good thing bringing in Gary Ley to do the weather at 7pm as well.
 
Gary Ley is the best. The station should never even think of about getting rid of him again. When you have a pro like that, you should do everything it takes to keep him. There are people out there that watch that NBC10 just because of Gary. He's top notch!
 
I was one of those people. Now I can't stand 10 after what they did to him and because they can't get a show done without numerous problems. They've also fallen off a cliff in terms of coverage.
 
I don't think they got rid of Gary per se, he was making a lot of money. They had to cut costs and personnel, that's obvious.

Ch.10 needs to wake up and do something different. Bring Erin Logan back. Change the set.
As far as their production problems go it's been a problem since they were an NBC O&O and it hasn't improved. A one-time station insider told me it was a fiasco there: and this is the market leader?

It's been announced that WJAR News is ready to go HD by the end of the year with a brand new set too. It was posted on this board as well as another board. The messsge apparently came from someone close to the station (possibly works at the station).
