WJBR and WSTW

I haven't been to Philly, but I know these two are Wilmington radio stations, from the FCC websites it look like the 54 db cover the Phildelphia very well, but how is the signal reception in Philidelphia and the surroundings? Because I don't see their radio stations high on the arbritron lists.

WSTW is good enough but it sounds like crap (the actual sound, I mean) so people who listen for CHR listen to the local one (Q102).

WJBR is a fine AC but local AC B101 does extremely well and doesn't leave many listeners for an out-of-town signal with an identical format.

In the city proper, JBR is like a local, STW gets beat up by MMR and YSP, even with their new added antenna height which did not do much.

Neither one really tries to market to Philly. On my side of the market (South Jersey) both have pretty good signals; WJBR seems to be stronger around Cherry Hill but gets beaten up some farther to the north (co-channel WBAI New York) and southeast (99.3 Atlantic City). WSTW has some problems close to Philly with the two second adjacents, especially on cheaper radios, but is audible in Trenton or Ocean City NJ on a decent car radio.

WJBR has some problems in Jersey due to 99.3 WZBZ/Pleasantville and 99.7 WBHX/Tuckerton.

WSTW makes it all the way to the Jersey Shore from Toms River to Cape May.

I know that WJBR does very well in Chester Co.
