WJBR.com teasing Holiday Music

So it wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility for them to eventually rebroadcast the HD WJBR on a translator with a skeleton crew. That’d be one way to return the station to the analog airwaves at a fraction of the cost. But I imagine it’d be hard to find a translator available that covers their target audience (while WJBR.com has a global reach).

You can download the JBR app and listen to it in your car. The HD signal reaches Quakertown, so I believe it reaches some of northern Delawarians. I cannot confirm this as I haven’t driven down there, but based on the location of BEN-FM tower, I’m assuming it reaches at least Wilmington. Most of the target audience for Delaware can listen on JBR stream on the app or asking your smart device to play JBR. Even Apple Music allows you to play the station. :) although the stream on Apple Music shows it as Mix 99.5 WJBR

The HD signal of Ben-Fm reaches Wilmington, but starts becoming unreliable where I 495 meets I 95 just south and west of the city. This is the area where most Philly HD signals start becoming unreliable. The HD signals completely drop out past the Christana Mall.

To the north i know the Philly HDs start dropping out on 476 just before Quakertown. They hang on here and there until around the Allentown area, and on the mountain tops in certain areas until around Hamburg, whereas the FM analog signals make it up past Pottsville until you pass Rt 81. To the west i think most reach the Reading area pretty well but dont quote me for sure, its been awhile.
 
Are they mentioning "Wilmington" or "Delaware" at all? I'm not so sure they're as focused on Wilmington as some think. Maybe they're gonna try to find an advertiser or two from the larger Delaware Valley area. I mean, it doesn't make sense to focus on market #84 when your product is on the HD2 of a station in market #8, as well as pumping out to anyone who wants it via streaming.
