WJBR-FM

A. WSTW beat them in the ratings. If they call themselves new, maybe someone they lost to 93.7 will start listening again.

B. Call yourself "new" people will think you did something and will listen to find out what it is.

C. At least I don't hear that awful Norah Jones piece of crap every afternoon. Maybe the music has finally changed. That would be NEW!

D. Marketing 101. Call yourself "New and Improved " and [****] people will try your product just to see if it really is "new and improved". Never underestimate the [*********] of the consumer.

[EDIT-inflammatory language]

I agree. I tuned in the other day and WJBR still plays, what sounds like to my ear, the same ole bland vanilla sounding music I remembered from the last time I tuned in about a year ago, plus they still air Daliah in the evenings. So whatever so called changes they made are not real apparent, at least to my ear.

They stuck way too long with their Elton John-Rod Stewart-Celene Dion format and must have lost people to Philly stations with a varied playlist like BEN-FM. They made their own bed & are now lying in it.
Also, when will they ever lose the canned Waite programing on weekend mornings and treat their listeners to a live jock?
