WJCX Pittsfield sold.

Probobly won't excite anyone.

CALVARY CHAPEL OF COSTA MESA, INC. is selling Contemporary Christian WJCX (CROSS FM)/PITTSFIELD, ME to CALVARY CHAPEL OF BANGOR for $200,000 paid in installments over 25 months.

Still seems like an awful lot of Religious stations/translators saturating the Bangor and Ellsworth market. There's the new station WRNM Ellsworth at 91.7 run by Light of Life Ministries, (not yet on the air) plus Solution FM (WHMX Lincoln translator) at 92.1 (on the old WKSQ tower); plus 2 applications for a CP in Ellsworth for 106.1 which will probably be religious.
Plus down here on Mount Desert Island we have a Calvary Chapel translator on 91.3, which totally trashed my reception of CBC Radio 1 from St.John/Fredericton (which used to come in quite well)

You would think we were all "heathens" down here in need of constant preaching.
