I make of it a quick and easy way to get rid of ONE of the two syndicated morning shows AND to move the classic country to the 101 frequency.

If I'm not mistaken, 101.3 is 100,000 and 95.1 is 50,000, but I may be wrong. I've also heard rumors that Clear Channel is looking to invest heavily in the "Mega -- Latino and Proud" format on 101.3 in order to get foothold on the growing hispanic community.

I would bet on Country....

lfuss said:95.1 can't beat WOKK because of WOKK's better signal. Therefore, they'll move the country format to 101.3. Q101 has little listenership outside of Lauderdale County, so that format will be put on the lower-powered 95.1. Too bad too... Q101 used to be dominant over east-central Mississippi and west-central Alabama. We used to do remotes, DJ parties and various promotions all over the place. Sadly, Q101 is just a shell of what it once was. The end of an era.
