WJEP-AM 1020 for sale on ebay..

I just happened to catch this earlier this afternoon. There's only 1 day left on it..

Lifeline Ministries has listed WJEP-AM 1020 on ebay for $450k. That includes 2 buildings and 7.9 acres of land
which includes the tower for the 10 kw daytimer.

This station has been Christian-formatted since it signed on in the early 80s. Most recently they have
played a mix of teaching programs, some local inspo/Southern Gospel and the Skylight Satellite Network.

It's licensed to Thomasville, GA. Coverage in Tallahassee is marginal.

I'm not affiliated with Lifeline or WJEP..just passing along the info in case someone is interested.
Just type in AM radio station in the ebay search and it'll come up..for a little while longer.

Well, that explains the lousy signal down in Tally!

When they first went on the air back around '83, they had a great local format and a decent signal
around here.

Boy, the AMs around here sure are rough on transmitters, aren't they! :D
