why would a new station which also plays older music have almost the identical calls ?

to confuse listeners or media buyers?

theories?
 
In a PPM world with two stations that NEVER use their calls but for Legal ID... simply not an issue anymore. Meter doesn't care what you call a station.

Stations have stretched the limits to find calls that mirror their brand if possible for ever, Eagle is more of a stretch than Magic.

Sensible letters to me but then no one's ever accused me of having much sense.
