WJIB - Lazy Crazy Hazy Days Of Summer

I just want to thank Bob Bittner for playing this great Nat King Cole classic as I was driving up Route 93 this morning. It reminds me of summers on the Mystic Lake in Arlington in the 60s...

Bob Bittner is a Boston treasure with WJIB.
How does he do it without commercials?

One of the reasons is that WJIB runs 250 watts daytime and 5 watts at night.Cheap to run with the automation and brokered religious stuff Sundays. And ther station gets out very well for its power level.

He is also paid for the French language news magazine program that airs weekdays 7 to 9 AM.
