WJIE having problems

Noticed late last week it didn't seem to have quite the carrying power it normally does. Today the signal was almost non-existent, even in places relatively close to the tower like Fairdale, Valley Station, and Fern Creek, much less far away places like Shelbyville. The signal WJIE is emitting at the moment sounds like it's in mono, and only about 5 watts.

WJIE was having some major problems earlier this week as well. Today, it sounded like things are getting close to normal at WJIE. They sounded better today than they had in weeks. I hope they are able to maintain their signal, especially since the competition is getting tighter with the stronger presence of K-Love and the entrance of WAY-FM into the market. I guess the same goes for WRVI too. Although, WRVI is a commercial outlet while the other CCMs are not.

I think Way FM will be a commercial station, although I think they will have trouble selling it.

Way will probably be 'both'... Listener supported by their 501(C)3 status and part sales.. Bob Augsburg had a strong background in that kind of radio at the original WSOR in Fort Myers... Riverside Baptist had 95.3 and about 60% came from pledge support and 40% came from commerical support.... :)

WJIE's right channel audio is extremely low. I first noticed it yesterday and the problem still exists this morning.

Instead of bitching about the problems here, has anyone thought to call JIE's engineering department regarding these problems?

KyScott, since you are consistently whining about LRS, did you call the LRS's programming department regarding their problems? The majority of your posts on this and other forums consists of you whining about some station or company. So, you are the last person that needs to talk about anyone complaining, or in your terms, the immature version of the word, the b word.

Would you care to point out exactly which posts I have written complaining about WLRS. Would you also point out which posts I have written whining about "some station or company"?
