As of this week, Ellenville's WJIP has pulled the plug on "Comedy 1370" where the station have been running the Comedy format for about a year and a half. So CC decided to go back to talk for now where it is simulcasting WKIP from Poughkeepsie. That would be an interesting change. They tried the Comedy format, and it didn't work. Many of the stations elsewhere has been carried the Comedy format from CC, but it ran for about a year or two, so they decided "enough is enough". What a way to end the format with a BANG! I found this article just this week.
