WJJG 1530

The music is sounding fair-to-awful. The new pair in use is painfully dull.

I'm having a hard time figuring out why anybody would not have already run out and spent a few dollars on an eq
to tweak the audio going into the line. Just avoid creating that peak at 8khz again.

Can I come help for free? Please? Is John still there, or is anybody looking after the setup?

If there isn't money for an eq, there's might not be enough money for any kind of air link.

Indeed, it sounds a LOT better!
Freq response is WAY up!
Modulation is definitely higher and more dense.
On the local sportscast I could hear the room ambience clearly. Nice job.

Still has something of the same unique sound it always has, which is good.
The higher audio was standing up well to Cinncinnati this morning.

Is WJJG Q101???

Agreed! Please fix the audio WJJG so I could enjoy "Q" on my radio.

Is WJJG Q101? I'm confused because there is no mention of Q101 on their website, and every time I've 'listened live', it's just talk.

I'm glad to hear it. The old program circuit is now the backup feed - hopefully it won't be needed too often! I'll be back down soon to tweak the processing a little bit. I didn't have time to do it when I turned the new feed on.

Heard nothing but Mancow, Savage, and infomercials on 1530 when I was in Chicago last week, including on Sunday. There were recorded pleas from both Mancow and Savage for business owners to "Call Matt" and advertise on WJJG. I did hear some spots, all Elmhurst / Downers Grove area small businesses.
