While it is certainly too early to predict the future musical path it will take, at this point I am pleased with the direction of WJJZ.
A patern of I-V-I-I-V-I.
And the vocals are not all R&B. I cannot listen all that often, as I can only hear them weekends on the web stream and during my morning and afternoon commute once I am in extreme northern Delaware, but I am not hearing the heavy dose of Motown that 106.1 gave us. Instead, its more like the earlier stage of Smooth Jazz, with Stealy Dan and other vocals of that ilke, which fit the format.
