WJLB Plays the Strong Songs

Somebody sent this WJLB voicers/jingles of the 1980s aircheck to me today and it really hit the spot :)

Here is some original WJLB from 1984:

There are several mid-90s WJLB airchecks up on my site.

WJLB was one of the best in the 1980s and 1990s. Miss the Strong Songs and the great Voiceover talents in the past not to mention the broader urban contemporary music mix on the great stations such as WJLB, WZAK and WGCI.

Does anyone know another station that uses a similar slogan today? The only one I can think of is WDIA where you will still hear about "7 of the best songs on the radio" on certain shifts where they still have DJs.
