David, quite correct, I was in error. There are no quarterly reports. As you've mentioned, they appear about roughly once a month.

They appear every 28 days... in the case of Chicago, always a Monday unless there is a holiday. Arbitron does not go by calendar months, so what they call "Deccember" may be the third week of November to the second week of December; subscribers also get weekly reports in between the monthlies.

Agencies still average 2, 3, 6 books. Whatever helps them beat up stations on rates is what they use.
