IRONWOOD -- WJMS-WIMI is being sold again. A broadcast group headed by former Wisconsin Gov. Tommy Thompson has agreed to purchase radio stations in Ironwood and Marinette, Wis., including the community's oldest station, WJMS. QuickSilver Broadcasting Chief Executive Officer David Winters has entered into an agreement to sell the assets of seven stations in the two communities to Armada Broadcasting, a newly formed Wisconsin radio group, according to a press release issued Monday in Marinette.
