WJNO-640? WJNO-850?

With the posts below about WJNO's difficulties in the latest trend, here's a thought...

What if CC offered Crystal some cash and the cash flowing brokered station WBZT in exchange for 850's signal and then programmed WJNO on it? Then reconfigured
1290 as a liberal talker a la WINZ?

A few advantages:

Randi would be a fish in water instead of a fish out of it.

WJNO could become all-conservative, all-the-time, perhaps picking up Hannity 3-6 and Savage (as part of the deal with Crystal) 6-9.

WJNO's nighttime programming would be heard all over the metro.

For Crystal:

It would be relieved of the burden of a high-maintenance format that is clearly beyond its grasp, given all the grasping at straws and changes of direction over the past year and a half.

Stranger things have happened.

I just read that James Crystal is trading their
Orlando station for a Texas station belonging
to Salem. To get Salem started in the Orlando market.

How many frequencies has JNO been on in recent years?
At least three I can think of.

WJNA 610

Or maybe the other way.

This was in the Sun-Sentinel this week:

Fight for Sight League of South Palm Beach County, speaker 610 AM WJNA Radio host Joyce Kaufman, noon at the South County Civic Center, 16700 Jog Rod., Delray Bach. Open to public.

Maybe the S-S knows something we don't know.

;-)
