Wjqb-106.3

I believe WJQB switches from the True Oldies Channel to Good Time Oldies tomorrow (5/26). The station will use the name Hits 106 but its web site is

http://www.greatesthits106.com/

I think they should use their frequency and actual call letters instead, but that's because I am old.

Any comments or thoughts on the new format? True they have Marvin in the Morning and the rotating PM drive jocks Dino and Chelle, so all I've heard of GTO is Jim Zippo in middays. Havent listened at night.

Hi everyone on this forum! I live in Acworth, GA just north of Atlanta, and I've been listening to Hits 106 online via Internet. I like what I'm hearing. I had the pleasure of listening online on this past late Saturday night 6/7/2014, and I heard an on-air personality by the name of either Ric Gibson or Rick Gibson. I tried looking him up, and I couldn't find anything. Apparently, he does indeed do weekend overnights during the overnight hours between Saturdays & Sundays. He comes on Saturday nights at 11PM. As for Smokin' Kevin, he's on Sunday nights-Friday nights. Anyway, that is all.
